Teams meet two to four times yearly in person at interesting locations around the world to align on strategy and execution.

We are expanding our sales and field engineering teams globally, especially our sales development representative (SDR) teams. SDRs are typically outstanding graduates from STEM fields who would like to join the software industry and are starting their sales career at Canonical.

We are hiring SDR Team Managers to run new inbound and outbound teams. Our goal is to manage inbound leads for a global tech company and develop outstanding sales professionals with high integrity, high empathy, and a rigorous work ethic. Our sales development organization serves also as a sales academy; thus, we look for SDR Team Managers who take a strong interest in developing skills and establishing culture.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a successful team of 2-10 SDRs/BDRs.
  • Maintain a multi‑million dollar pipeline.
  • Lead cross‑team collaboration and creative problem solving.
  • Drive team activities using data for continuous improvement.
  • Experiment with new outbound approaches to adapt to market changes.
  • Develop talent through learning opportunities and train them for senior sales and alliances positions.
Required Qualifications
  • Excellent academic results at school and university.
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business or STEM.
  • Knowledge and passion for business development, sales, and technology.
  • Track record of bringing exceptional outbound sales development results.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement; curious, flexible, scientific.
  • Creative problem solving and cross‑team collaboration.
  • Leadership experience of one form or another.
  • Able to use data to drive team activities and continuous improvement.
