Position Summary: The Route Service Representative – Jumper (RSR – Jumper) shall support the Route Service Representative (RSR) in providing safe and effective delivery of linen and other assigned products to the customers of Superior Linen Service. The RSR – Jumper will run routes in relief when the regularly assigned RSR is off work and will retrieve soiled linen, conduct shelf counts, and complete other duties as assigned.

• Maintain a strong professional relationship with all customers and fellow employees as a member of the Superior Linen Service team.
• Assist in the care and cleanliness of the assigned Superior Linen Vehicle, following policies and protocols for vehicle security.
• Assist in recording, tracking, and reporting data that supports Superior Linen Service operations and clientele, aiding in consistently high‑quality service outcomes.
• Maintain high level of professionalism in appearance, communication, and behavior, understanding that this position is the primary point of contact with Superior Linen Service clients.
• Keep a consistent schedule that coincides with the normal RSR’s delivery schedule to maintain high customer care.

• Participate in and value training, meetings, and activities as assigned.
• Demonstrate and promote Superior Linen culture, values, and philosophy.

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Criminal background checks and drug testing will be required for this position

• Ability to safely complete loading and unloading of laundry in carts.
• Ability to meet time‑sensitive goals in a safe and effective manner.
• Self‑initiative, accountability, flexibility, and interpersonal savviness.
• Follow instructions related to ergonomics, infection prevention, and other safety directives provided by Superior Linen Service Management.
• Basic computer skills.

• Physical Demands: Regularly stand, use hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally walk, sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear. Frequently lift up to 75 pounds.
• Work Environment: Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, vibration, and loud noise levels.
