Medical Account Specialist – Hematology

Location:

Oklahoma City, OK (Geographic: Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Albuquerque, Amarillo)

Job Overview

The Hematology Oncology Account Specialist is responsible for engaging Hematologists and other key Oncology customers within a geographic universe and settings, including academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts in support of the launch of our Multiple Myeloma product. The role focuses on presenting clinically focused selling messages to build and grow revenue and to consistently deliver product goals.

It requires initiative, drive, and independence, with ownership of outstanding account‑management based selling skills and a rigorous compliance mindset.

Typical Day
  • Engage Hematologists and other key Oncology customers and deliver clinically focused selling messages to support our Multiple Myeloma bispecific antibody, growing brand share, revenue, and product goals.
  • Facilitate partnership with Regional Directors, Nurse Educators, Key Account Managers, Territory‑based Oncology Account Specialists, and Reimbursement Specialists to proactively resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics and trends, and develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives.
  • Develop strong working relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
  • Execute market profiling activities to understand regional and local health care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities within assigned accounts and coordinate efforts with the Regeneron Oncology account team, including supporting contracting pull‑through efforts.
  • Build a breadth of relationships within each account to understand objectives, goals, and challenges, and to align approved Regeneron Oncology resources to customer needs.
  • Demonstrate dedication to compliance by understanding regulations and policies governing customer interactions and maintaining consistent focus on ensuring compliance.
Requirements
  • Proven advanced clinically based and account-based selling skills.
  • Consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments, operating with a high degree of integrity within compliance guidelines.
  • Results-oriented track record with product launches.
  • Strong account management, with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus. Minimum 5 years successful experience in Oncology sales, with Hematology Oncology preferred. Buy and bill experience with biologics required. Minimum 3 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, and key institutions. Current account management experience in calling on large Oncology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks is required.

Must possess a strong understanding of the Hematology Oncology therapeutic area and the current Oncology marketplace. Ability to travel and cover a large geographic territory is essential.

Salary Range

$158,950 – $220,000 annually
