The Account Manager – Accelerated Sales Program Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is responsible for managing and growing customer accounts, supporting sales activities, and building strong relationships with professional contractors. Day-to-day tasks include identifying customer needs, generating leads, preparing quotes, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. The associate will monitor customer satisfaction, respond to service inquiries, and provide product knowledge and solutions tailored to each customer.
The role may also involve participating in training and development activities as part of the Accelerated Sales Program to build expertise in White Cap’s products, services, and sales processes.
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service capabilities.
- Experience or aptitude in Account Management, with the ability to manage multiple customer relationships effectively.
- Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and supporting sales growth.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Oklahoma City, OK, and collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials, tools, or industrial products is beneficial but not required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with standard office and sales software (e.g., CRM systems, email, spreadsheets) is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is a plus.
