Lighting Controls Specialist

Position summary:

Responsiblefordevelopingrelationships withthe SESCO outside salesteamregarding their controls needs. Responsibleforcreatingand maintaining relationships with end user customers. Generally, worksindependentlyand assists others as needed.

• Become an industry resource for controls andproviderecommendations(solutions) to existing and new construction job sites through contacts with developers for publicand private facilities
• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside salespeople
• Workin conjunction withotherSESCO salespeople and worktoidentifycustomers needing controls solutions
• Solve problems quickly and turn theminto opportunities
• Earn discretionarybusinessfromcustomerbaseto passthrough Distributors
• Ensurequickand properresponsetoallreasonable customer requests
• Identify and securenewmarkets and adoption ofnewtechnologies within your territory
• Maintain profitability by meeting bogies and containing managing expenses
• Otherdutiesas assigned bymanager
• 5+ years’ experience in a professional environment
• Must learn and maintain knowledge on all manufacturers represented
• Exhibit excellent communications skills and the ability to develop presentations to customers and present in a professional manner
• Excellent sales skills including cold calling, building relationships, selling value, and customer service
• Self-motivated and goal oriented
• Extraordinary attention to details required
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Must be able to multi-task
• Possess excellent team work ethic
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver license, and insurance
• Must be proficient on Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Bluebeam and basic understanding of AutoCAD knowledge a plus
