Route Sales Manager-Northwest Oklahoma

Schedule: Full-time, field-based (mobile store operation)

A long-established, privately held distributor of industrial hardware is looking for a Route Sales Manager to run a fully stocked mobile store serving customers across a defined territory. The company brings its inventory and service directly to industries such as transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, federal/local government, and heavy equipment. This role is central to driving new business and maintaining strong customer relationships through direct, in-person sales.

• Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calls on businesses near existing customers
• Make face-to-face calls on both cold and warm sales prospects
• Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store itself
• Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store vehicle
• Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls
• Maintain up-to-date customer contact information—including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses—using company software

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must reside within the assigned territory
• Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle
• Must maintain a clean driving history
• Physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis
• Strong tenured work history with no job hopping; ideally a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment

• Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales
