The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Arlington, VA;

The security professional will have extensive experience using JPAS/DISS, Scattered Castles, JADE, JADS, SIMS and other record repositories to determine and maintain personnel eligibility for classified access. The Industrial Security Specialist will be skilled at delivering initial and recurring briefings on critical program information, classification marking, safeguarding and destruction, OPSEC, physical and communications security while being adept at managing personnel and classified-material records to ensure data integrity, conducting inventories and reconciliation for accountability, and developing CONOPs and procedures for handling, storing, and transporting proprietary materials.

You will also be a collaborative leader who coordinates across security teams, Boeing engineering and management, senior leadership, and U.S. Government customers to obtain contract approvals, security rulings, and authorized deviations.

• Executes internal security controls through compliance assessment reviews and self inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations.
• Identifies deficiencies and develops and implements corrective action.
• Conducts administrative inquiries on personnel, processes, and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non‑compliance with government and company regulations.
• Conducts COMSEC duties and responsibilities (inventory, distribution, and destruction), in compliance with government regulations.
• Protects government, intellectual, third‑party, and company information from unauthorized disclosures.
• Develops, implements, and administers an operational security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations on large and/or highly complex programs.
• Contributes to enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) (participates in review cycle and decision making for export compliance, procedures, business process instructions, desktop instructions).
• Provides innovation and creativity into Personnel Security (e.g., reduce cycle time) to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirements.
• Provides innovation and creativity into security awareness training and education program (briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property, and information.
• Oversees physical security duties within Boeing facilities (complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations.
• Completes tasks toward long‑range goals and objectives.
• Oversees Sub‑Contractor Management (provide contractual requirements and direction, site assistance visits and reviews) to ensure compliance with government regulations.

• Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) within the last 5 years, or was enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years.
• 10+ years of experience in Industrial Security.
• 5+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security‑related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP) access.
• Capable of traveling up to 50% of the time.

• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Experience with oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to obtain a successful US government polygraph examination.
