Security Officer

Essential duties and responsibilities include standing guard during events, touring the post periodically to ensure safety, handling disturbances, writing incident reports, monitoring surveillance equipment, prioritizing safety incidents, answering phone lines, inspecting alarms and fire systems, establishing working relationships, touring the facility, assisting with crowd control, controlling emergencies, operating the command center, maintaining a professional appearance, completing shift assignments, being courteous to the public, and maintaining business ethics.

Supervisory responsibilities include limited supervisory duties and temporary assignments in accordance with Legends Global policies.

Qualifications include being 18 years of age, having a high school diploma or GED equivalent, previous security experience preferred, knowledge of security and safety guidelines, knowledge of security technology, ability to read, write and understand English, eligibility to work in the United States, and meeting physical requirements.

Physical demands include sitting and walking for long hours, lifting objects, operating security equipment, manual dexterity, visual acuity, and operating computers.

Hours of work and travel requirements include working any shift needed over weekends, including overnights, working extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, and negligible travel.
