Protective Operations & Team Surveillance Specialist (Contract / As-Needed)
Company Description

F.I.I.D. LLC is a security and investigative agency specializing in executive protection, covert security, protective intelligence, team surveillance, and counter-surveillance operations. We support a diverse range of clients who require discreet, professional, and reliable protective and investigative services.

Role Description

The Protective Operations & Team Surveillance Specialist is an independent contractor position. This is a hybrid role that primarily requires in‑person participation for training and operational assignments.

Contract personnel support a variety of protective and investigative operations, including executive protection, protective support, team surveillance, counter‑surveillance, and protective intelligence. Assignments may also include security driving, advance work, fixed‑site protective assignments, operational planning, and other security‑related duties as required.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting executive protection and protective support operations
  • Participating in coordinated surveillance and counter‑surveillance assignments
  • Collecting and documenting protective intelligence
  • Identifying, assessing, and reporting potential threats and suspicious activity
  • Assisting with operational planning and logistical coordination
  • Preparing clear, accurate, and timely written reports
  • Communicating professionally with clients and team members
  • Following established operational procedures and maintaining strict confidentiality

When not assigned to client operations, contractors are expected to participate in regular team training to maintain operational readiness and proficiency. Training includes defensive tactics, firearms, surveillance techniques, communications, team procedures, and other mission‑essential skills. Attendance at training is also used to evaluate professionalism, judgment, teamwork, and readiness for future assignments.

Before being approved for operational assignments, candidates must demonstrate an acceptable level of physical fitness, firearms proficiency, operational competence, and the ability to perform safely and effectively as part of a coordinated team.
