RV Service Technician

Overview

Optimum RV is a premier RV dealership committed to providing quality service and a wide selection of recreational vehicles. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated RV Service Technician to join our service team and ensure our customers' RVs are maintained and repaired to the highest standards.

Location:

3045 North Service Road, Moore, OK 73160.

• Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on a variety of recreational vehicles, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure RVs meet quality and safety standards before delivery to customers.
• Document all work performed, including parts used and labor time, in the dealership s service management system.
• Communicate with service advisors and customers to provide detailed explanations of repairs and maintenance work.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and technical bulletins.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be willing to learn all aspects of RV repair, including house repairs.
• Current certification (RVIA/RVDA/RVTI) or interest in completing online training courses for RVIA certification.

• Strong knowledge of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; RV experience preferred.
• RVIA/RVDA certification or other relevant industry certifications preferred.
• Experience with computerized diagnostic tools and software preferred.
• Familiarity with warranty repair processes and documentation preferred.
