IES Residential is currently seeking a skilled and licensed Unlimited Journeyman Service Electrician to join our rapidly expanding Oklahoma City team. Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with NEC and Oklahoma electrical codes
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine effective, code‑compliant solutions
- Supervise apprentices and assist in their on‑the‑job training and development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors to meet project timelines
Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour

Minimum Years of
Experience:
2‑4
- Current and active Oklahoma Unlimited Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
- 4+ years of electrical installation experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively for job site communication and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments including heights and confined spaces
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Experience in residential, multifamily, or mixed‑use construction
- Leadership experience overseeing apprentices
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Active residential and construction job sites
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Work at elevated heights (ladders, lifts, scaffolding)
- Operation of power tools and electrical equipment
- Fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
- Ability to work overhead for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms
- Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools safely
- Ability to work in confined spaces and varying temperatures
- Visual acuity to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and measuring devices
