Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic III - 16707

Description

The Aircraft Structures Mechanic III role is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates of Technical or A&P schools, as well as mechanics with fewer than five years of heavy aircraft experience.

• Perform basic maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Proficiently use FAA-approved data, such as IPC, M/M, OHM, and SRM.
• Ensure work adheres to high-quality standards.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training.
• May or may not have an A and/or P license, FCC license, or repairman's certificate.
• Some sheet metal experience (including relative experience outside of Aviation).
• Must possess and be able to skillfully use the minimum tools required.
• 6 months Helper experience with successful completion of 40-hour Sheet metal class.
• Candidates without experience in Aviation Sheet metal must successfully complete 120 hours of General Aviation Training (OJT).
• Must possess the ability to learn.
