Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic with the requirements, duties, responsibilities, and skills to inspect and repair vehicles and heavy equipment.

• Order and assist in testing and commissioning of products
• Run diagnostic tools and repair procedures to isolate issues with vehicles or equipment
• Inspect equipment, engines, transmissions, etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot using hydraulic and/or electrical schematics
• Complete repair tickets showing work completed/performed and any follow-up required

• Detailed oriented
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Time‑management skills to perform many tasks within tight deadlines and maintain maintenance schedules
• Ability to read various measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches
• Driving – must know how to operate and drive multiple types of vehicles
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, crouch, and crawl to perform job duties
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical
• Must be willing to work indoor/outdoor in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold
• Must be able to work overtime when required
• Must adhere to safety requirements and procedures
