What are the responsibilities?

It's a challenging, hands-on role, where you'll work on a daily basis with our branches to make sure, they are able to provide an outstanding experience every time a customer enters a Locke Supply location. As a Construction Associate, you will be a member of our in-house team, working with Carpentry/Woodworking, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC at our branches and our corporate facilities.

What are the requirements?

* Valid driver license with a clean driving record

* Must pass a D.O.T Physical and Drug Test

* Must be able to pass a post-offer, physical job duty test through WorkSTEPS

* Carpentry/Woodworking Experience (not a must, but would be helpful, willing to learn)

* Electrical Experience (not a must, but would be helpful, willing to learn)

* Plumbing and/or HVAC Experience (not a must, willing to learn if no experience)

* Overnight Travel (Up to 60% of working hours; average 3 overnights per week)

* Mandatory Overtime (Average of 6-10 hours per week)

* Must be able to read a tape measure

* Able to operate heavy equipment

* Must be able to run power tools
