Position Overview
As an Entry Level HVAC/R Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. You will perform various tasks from system installation to end-of-life maintenance, warranty services, and emergency repairs. Additionally, you will guide and advise customers on the best air quality solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems and equipment.
- Identify maintenance needs and potential risks on equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
- Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency repairs.
- Maintain daily logs and records of all service activities.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and OSHA regulations.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
- Follow service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret work plans.
- Availability to work after hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Competitive pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
- Full-time position.
