Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including all related components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment.
- Replace or repair faulty components, such as fuel injectors, water pumps, and brakes.
- Conduct test drives to verify that repairs are successful and systems are functioning properly.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Valid Driver's License (required).
- Clean driving record (required).
- CDL is a plus but not required.
- Ability to pass background checks, pre-employment screening, and random drug testing.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in air brake systems and alignment procedures.
- Experience with tire services, including installation, rotation, and repair.
- Proficient in assembling and disassembling complex machinery and equipment.
- Solid understanding of farm machinery maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with suspension systems and components.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools for mechanical work.
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing transmission issues.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics to identify engine problems.
- Competitive pay ranging from $20.00 - $35.00 per hour.
- Full-time role with an expected 50 hours per week.
