OverviewThe Rig Mechanic is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing oil well drilling machinery and equipment.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair drilling equipment to ensure operational reliability and productivity.
Install new machinery and components as required on rig sites.
Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic failures and perform corrective actions.
Qualifications- Minimum of 3–5 years of mechanical or hydraulic equipment experience related to oilfield drilling.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid physical exam required.
- Legal authorization to work in the country where the rig operates.
- Must wear steel‑toe work boots.
- International role holders must have a passport.
Estimated range: $25.00–$34.50 per hour (state‑specific adjustments may apply).
