As a Service Technician at Kraft Tank Corporation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our products and services. You’ll work in a dynamic team environment where your contributions are valued, and your expertise is utilized to its fullest potential. With a focus on efficiency and quality, we ensure our technicians receive ongoing training and support to keep them at the forefront of industry standards.
PositionResponsibilities
- Carry out assigned jobs based on established processes or as directed by the Service Manager.
- Installing mud flaps for service customers.
- Diagnosing and repairing trailer light systems.
- Preforming preventative maintenance and equipment check-ins.
- Replacing gaskets, dome lids, butterfly valves, and API heads.
- Conducting services on brakes and brake chambers.
- Report any discrepancies or modifications to the Repair Order immediately to Service Manager and Service Advisors.
- Maintain a clean working environment by cleaning the bay after each job, returning extra parts to the warehouse, and disposing of excess materials.
- Adhere to safety protocols and complete all tasks in compliance with company requirements.
- Take on additional responsibilities as directed by the Shop Foreman and Shop Manager.
- Proven experience performing trailer repair work proficiently.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license to operate a hostler in the yard.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the automotive and/or trucking repairs industry.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, climb and sit for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal skills with customers, management, and team members.
- Travel as needed to other Company locations by vehicle, plane, or train.
