Data Center Cooling Technician

Nortek Data Center Cooling, a division of Madison Industries, is a premier HVAC company specializing in sustainable solutions for data center infrastructure.

We're looking for a technician to commission, service, and repair mechanical and electrical systems for data center cooling projects.

• Commission, service, and repair mechanical and electrical systems for data center cooling projects.
• Review blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work orders to plan and execute service tasks efficiently.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues through root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and customers to ensure top performance.
• Provide professional, reliable service while representing Nortek in the field.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation as needed.

• High school diploma or GED (technical or trade school preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment service; EPA 608 certification.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as projects require.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
