Join Bodewell, the official service team of GE Appliances, as an Appliance Service Technician in Oklahoma City, OK. This role combines hands‑on repair skills with customer education and brand representation.

- Diagnose and complete in‑home repairs on GE Appliances’ major appliances
- Use sound judgment to recommend repair versus replacement based on cost‑effectiveness and customer needs
- Promote and sell service contracts, water filters, and related products, focusing on value‑driven solutions and customer experience
- Operate an assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations
- Accurately document repairs, routes, and work activities
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, and events to maintain industry expertise
- Manage inventory and maintenance of your service vehicle
- Deliver high‑quality service and maintain strong customer satisfaction
- Follow all safety protocols to protect yourself and others
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience with appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance
- Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer aptitude, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams
- Flexible schedule, including occasional Saturdays
- Valid state driver’s license and successful completion of background check, physical, and drug screen
- Willingness to obtain CFC Certification within 6 months
- Wear uniform and maintain grooming standards consistent with GE Appliances values
- Self‑directed and solid team player
- Ability to deescalate situations and rebuild customer confidence
- Ability to perform essential functions, including:
- Step in and out of a van and sit for extended periods
- Handle parts or equipment that may be hot, cold, or wet
- Use powered hand tools and vibratory equipment
- Lift and carry parts up to 77 lb. and push/pull 70 lb. (or equivalent)
- 6+ months of experience with refrigeration repair
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- CFC Certified
- Certification in appliance repair or associate’s degree preferred
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and other service information
