Lube Technician

Job Summary

We are hiring a Lube Technician in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position will perform routine and some non-routine maintenance on vehicles (primarily Class 8 Trucks and Pickups) in accordance with Transdev standards. As a Lube Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our diesel‑powered assets.

• Perform routine maintenance such as replacement of light bulbs, fuses, lenses, wiper blades, belts, hoses, batteries, check fluid levels, change fluids and filters, and lubricate components.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs under moderate supervision.
• Maintain records of all maintenance work, including parts and supplies used, and order repair parts from designated suppliers.
• Carry out preventative maintenance (PMs), safety maintenance inspections, and annual maintenance inspections at prescribed intervals.
• Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective actions taken.
• Evaluate completed work prior to release and seek approval where required.
• Adhere to Transdev standards, policies, and procedures.
• Move vehicles safely between job and work area.
• Repair and maintain shop equipment.
• Clean vehicles as requested or required.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested or required.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred.
• Beginner mechanical aptitude and 1 year of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
• Adhere to state DOT motor vehicle inspection and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Possess adequate mechanic tool inventory and maintain tools in a clean and safe manner.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions (100% of the job is performed outside, often alone and in remote locations).
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day) and frequently walk for long distances, on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.

• Competitive compensation package: minimum $19.00 – maximum $24.00 per hour.
• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks.
