Now hiring an Automotive or Diesel Mechanic B for our shop serving Oklahoma City Environmental Trust!
Transdev in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining engines across various vehicles and equipment. All Techs play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.
Compensation and Incentives- Competitive compensation package of minimum $24.00 – $28.00 per hour based on experience and certifications
- Additional $0.10 per hour for each ASE certification you possess or obtain
- Additional $0.50 per hour for obtaining your CDL
- Additional $0.50 per hour for obtaining your state CNG certification
- Vacation: minimum of two weeks
- Sick days: five days
- Holidays: 12 days (8 standard and 4 floating)

- Company-paid ASE testing and training materials
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including brakes, suspensions, engines, drive trains, transmissions, and other repairs.
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
- Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- At least 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience.
- Mechanic’s toolset.
- ASE certifications preferred; must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program (training, testing, and bonuses provided).
- Subject to DOT drug testing.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity (100% of the job is performed outside).
- Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day), frequently walk for long distances, and navigate sloped or uneven surfaces.
- Ability to push, pull, lift objects up to 50 lbs., and bend, kneel, or crouch as needed.
- Ability to withstand heavy traffic areas and tolerate dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Applicants must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
