Construction Materials Testing Technician

Location:

Oklahoma City, OK

• Perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the field to verify suitability and conformance to industry and construction specifications.
• Provide design parameters for Geotechnical Engineering teams through accurate computations using basic to intermediate math.
• Follow proper testing procedures and maintain cordial relationships with co-workers, clients, contractors, etc.
• Work with a team in a challenging, fun, and fast‑paced environment toward a common goal.
• Adapt to shifting tasks quickly, multitasking as needed.
• Complete tests, including data sheets and basic calculations for reporting purposes.
• Travel occasionally and work nights and weekends when necessary to support client deadlines.

• 1–5 years of construction materials testing experience.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Basic to intermediate math skills.
• Ability to read and understand a test procedure.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• ACI Strength Testing Technician
• ODOT Materials Sampling Technician
• Nuclear Gauge / Troxler / Radiation Safety

May require travel from time to time. Ability to work nights and weekends when necessary.
