Diesel Mechanic

Now hiring an Automotive or Diesel Mechanic for our shop serving Oklahoma City Environmental Trust.

• Competitive compensation of minimum $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
• Additional $0.10 per hour for each ASE certification possessed or obtained.
• Additional $0.50 per hour for obtaining a CDL.
• Additional $0.50 per hour for obtaining a state CNG certification.

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks.
• Sick days: 5 days.
• Holidays: 12 days (8 standard and 4 floating).

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, suspensions, engines, drive trains, transmissions, and other repairs.
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
• Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.

• Valid driver’s license required.
• At least 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair experience, or a combination of technical school education and experience.
• Mechanic’s toolset.
• ASE certifications preferred; must be willing to participate in the company ASE certification program (training, testing, and bonuses provided).
• Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions (100% of the job performed outdoors).
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on possible sloped or uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects; lift material up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch for equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise while performing duties.
