Position: PRODUCTION MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II

Maintenance Technician I / Driver

Temp-to-Hire Position Pay: $21.00 per hour

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician I / Driver to perform routine preventive maintenance and general building repairs to help keep our facilities operating safely and efficiently. This position also requires driving a company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and materials to local vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the maintenance department with daily work assignments.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Complete general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs.
  • Repair and maintain building fixtures, including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.
  • Recommend equipment improvements to increase efficiency and performance.
  • Select and use the appropriate tools, equipment, and materials for maintenance projects.
  • Drive a company vehicle in all weather conditions to transport parts and materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and state and local driving regulations.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with the maintenance team.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One to three years of related maintenance experience preferred.
  • Valid, unrestricted, non-provisional driver's license required.
  • Safe driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, including 120V, 240V, and 480V three-phase power.
  • Knowledge of PVC and general plumbing systems.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills preferred.
  • Experience working with high-pressure compressors is a plus.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position.
