Maintenance Tech
The Maintenance Tech supports safe and reliable operations by performing hands-on maintenance on forklifts, CNC equipment, and facility systems. This role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, including changing hoses, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment in the shop and facility runs efficiently and with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other heavy equipment, including mechanical inspections and adjustments.
- Change hoses and related components on machinery and equipment, ensuring proper fit, function, and safety.
- Conduct facilities maintenance, including inspection, repair, and upkeep of building systems and infrastructure within the shop and facility.
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and address them proactively through preventive maintenance activities.
- Document maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status, in accordance with internal procedures.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems on CNC machines, forklifts, and facility equipment to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
- Collaborate with operations and production personnel to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to daily operations.
- Follow safety procedures and best practices when working with heavy equipment, mechanical systems, and shop tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the shop and throughout the facility.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
