Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including diagnostic testing to identify issues and assessing condition of parts.
• Respond to service calls and conduct on-site repairs to minimize vehicle downtime and disruption to service.
• Uphold Ryder's standards for safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair and servicing task to contribute to the fleet management database.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule maintenance and optimize vehicle availability.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and techniques in the field of diesel mechanics and mobile repair services.

Required Skills

• Expertise in diesel engine maintenance and repair, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic and repair tools and equipment.
