Maintenance Technician I

Sares-Regis Group seeks a Maintenance Technician I to support high-quality multifamily communities in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will complete resident work orders, perform routine and emergency repairs, and support unit turns to ensure safe, attractive, and well-maintained properties. Responsibilities include basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs, preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and maintaining tools and inventory. You'll work closely with a professional, team-oriented staff that values integrity, accountability, and long-term resident relationships while contributing to community impact.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on building systems, units, and common areas
• Complete resident work orders promptly and professionally
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Maintain maintenance shop, tools, and inventory in orderly condition
• Assist with unit turns, including painting, repairs, and cleaning
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Collaborate with property management team on maintenance priorities
• Respond to on-call and after-hours emergencies as needed
• Communicate clearly and courteously with residents and vendors
