The Outside/Inside Service Technician performs mechanical work on pressure washers, pumps, and various other industrial cleaning equipment. The Service Technician should be able to multitask, have strong problem-solving skills and be goal oriented. Must work well both independently and as part of a team. Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers. Must have a good driving record.

• Must be familiar with engine components and systems, and how they interact with each other.
• Must have the ability to inspect, repair and replace defective or worn parts.
• Be able to perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Must have basic electrical knowledge.
• Have a stable work history.
• Handle customer feedback while showing a positive attitude.
• Have the aptitude to diagnose and identify equipment malfunctions.
• Have a good driving record with the ability to travel to various job sites in the state.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain procedures and processes to ensure compliance with Company’s quality standards.
• Be able to work timely and efficiently and be self-sufficient.
• Reliable transportation to and from Chappell Supply and Equipment.

• Be able to stand and move about regularly.
• Be able to frequently move parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Able to compute, analyze and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail oriented.
• Ability to read and use a computer.
• Ability to understand and follow basic instruction and guidelines.
• Ability to understand, remember and communicate routine, information.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and record, balance, and check results for accuracy.
• MUST be mechanically inclined and have experience.
