Position Summary:
The employee may occasionally be required to supervise a varying number of employees in the overall direction, coordination, and completion of tasks as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must clear all necessary criminal and vehicular background checks.
- Must possess and maintain a current Oklahoma license for motor vehicles. Employee must also have a clean driving record.
- Must maintain confidential information of a sensitive nature.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Occasionally may be required to assist in the replacement of damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles, and wall coverings.
- Del Schools Confined Spaces Program. Occasionally must work in aerial bucket ladder or cat walk at a height not to exceed 110'.
On occasion may be required to assist the Director of Maintenance and Construction, and/or Supervisor of Maintenance and Construction, and the Carpentry Foreman with coordinated planning, designing, and installation of new construction and/or remodel projects.
- Del Schools Lockout/Tagout Program. Employee shall become responsible for the maintenance of all doors, closures, and locking devices found throughout the District. Shall become skilled in maintaining a key control system (K C 2000) through the use of computer aids for all site throughout the District. Must become skilled in blueprint and representative drawings interpretation of buildings and/or equipment.
Supervisor of Maintenance and Construction; and Carpentry Foreman. The employee shall also be able to provide Director/Supervisor/and Foreman pertinent information on the status of the District keying system if requested.
Shall become skilled in cutting new or duplicate keys required throughout the District and maintain records on all new keys cut. Occasionally may be required to move lock pick in cylinder to open lock door locks without keys. Opens safe locks by drilling.
