This full-time, on-site Electrical Journeyman role is based in Oklahoma City, OK. The Electrical Journeyman will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing diagnostics, and completing repairs or upgrades to power distribution, lighting, and control systems. The role also involves using a variety of tools and testing instruments, collaborating with apprentices and other team members, and maintaining accurate records of work performed.

The Electrical Journeyman is expected to follow all safety procedures, support project schedules, and provide professional communication with customers and supervisors.

• Strong understanding of electricity principles and safe electrical work practices.
• Proficiency in electrical design and layout, including reading and interpreting plans and schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts as they apply to field installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with power generation and distribution systems, including panels, breakers, and controls.
• Skill in working with electrical equipment such as wiring, conduit, switches, transformers, and motor controls.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license for the state of Oklahoma (or ability to obtain as required).
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, including adherence to OSHA and NEC standards.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment, work on ladders or in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, peers, and apprentices.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade school training in electrical work is preferred.
