Child Welfare Specialist III H23C
Annual Salary: $43,968.62 + Full State Employee Benefits
Shift-diff pay is paid after standard hours.
Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%.
On-call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities.
Travel is OCCASIONAL. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree;
- OR a Bachelor's Degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist;
- OR Two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as a facility liaison that supports residential psychiatric facilities, which includes visiting the child or youth, consulting with the treatment team, reviewing charts, responding to facility concerns, and providing guidance to facilities around child welfare process and practice.
- The facility liaison may also support treatment and discharge planning with child welfare teams, providing information around the youth's progress in treatment, dates of discharge, and placement planning when discharged.
