The Diversion Hub is a comprehensive, one‑stop network dedicated to assisting justice‑involved individuals in Oklahoma City by harnessing the power of multiple support agencies through combined and synchronized services. Our goal is to provide life‑stabilizing resources while empowering individuals to reduce their encounters with the criminal legal system through enhanced support services, including case management, data integration, and coordinated communication under one roof.

The Diversion Hub CO‑OP Coordinator will provide oversight and manage the communications and dynamics of the COOP team; oversee client data; ensure COOP team members adhere to identified functions, philosophy, and performance standards; remain informed regarding budgetary concerns of COOP and coordinate services from each discipline and the local community, in a manner that is most optimal for public safety as well as therapeutic to the COOP Consumer.

The Coordinator is supervised in a cooperative approach by the District Attorney and Public Defender and is to maintain strict neutrality with regard to all aspects of the program.

• Creates and keeps a shared, running database of all referrals, participants and former participants. Updates the database daily as to the compliance of each participant. Works closely with team members to track referrals, track participant compliance and help the court process.
• Functions as a member of the COOP team by discussing consumers, contributing ideas, and recommending actions, and committing themselves to the program mission and goals; and works as a full partner to ensure success.
• Aids the Court in the processing of referrals and participants.
• Works closely with the Assistant District Attorney to oversee participant compliance.
• Works closely with the Assistant Public Defender to track referrals.
• Schedules meetings conducive to the schedule of each COOP team member.
• Schedules regular meetings and creates a written document of all agreed upon terms of the program structure.
• Collaborates to prepare a written program mission, goals and objectives, and written philosophy.
• Revisits program mission, goals and objectives with team to assure their efficacy and application.
• Maintains the budget.
• Will seek out training opportunities and other similar programs to create a best practice standard.
• Acts as the contact point between the community and the court to ensure program effectiveness and success.
• Informs community partners of expectations of the COOP program.
• Drafts and implements memorandum of understanding for community partners on the COOP team and updates as needed.
• Seeks and schedules opportunities to educate the public on the COOP program.
• Identifies and recommends potential new team members to ensure competent team members and a successful program.
• Identifies training opportunities for the COOP team and ensures team members attend all mandatory training prior to functioning as a team member.
• Recommends competent and informed treatment providers to ensure appropriate treatment.
• Creates an open dialog with treatment providers.
• Monitors treatment and ancillary services to ensure and maintain best practices.
• Creates interagency linkages to address client’s ancillary needs in the areas of medical, housing, employment, and vocational skills planning.
• Promotes COOP philosophy and value by educating employers, housing providers, and other agencies associated with participants on the requirements of COOP.
• Provides information and promotes COOP to employers, housing providers, and other agencies on the value of working with participants from the COOP program.
• Develops and coordinates the community steering committee.
• Develops partnerships with local mental health and recovery community.
