Job Summary

We’re seeking a full-time Bilingual Client Navigator to join our Direct Services team. We envision an Oklahoma City free from violence, where everyone feels safe and secure. As a Bilingual Client Navigator, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking services  this role, you’ll support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, and elder abuse through a trauma-informed and hospitality-first approach.

You will help clients identify their needs, navigate on-site and community-based resources, and access critical services including advocacy, forensic nursing, legal support, law enforcement, and child-focused care. As a Bilingual Client Navigator, you’ll work closely with over 40 partner agencies and play a key role in reducing barriers to safety and healing. Your ability to build trust, think critically, and offer compassionate, client-centered support will have a meaningful impact on those experiencing crisis and complex life challenges.

Your

mission is to:
  • Work a four 10s schedule, with three days dedicated to walk-in clients and one day dedicated to appointments with a caseload of 8‑10 clients;
    • Walk-in Days:
      Meet with all individuals who arrive during walk-in hours, typically supporting 2–10+ clients per day who may be navigating complex needs or challenging life circumstances, addressing immediate needs;
    • Appointment Days:
      Meet with caseload clients as needed based on their individual needs and assist them in setting short‑ and long‑term goals and objectives in collaboration with them;
      Provide warm welcome and guidance to all clients and accompanying persons upon arrival;
  • Provide crisis intervention and conduct client intakes (via virtual services: telephone, texting, live chat, Google Meet), and in‑person;
  • Provide clients with intake forms and information regarding confidentiality, informed consent, resources, etc.;
  • Conduct initial intake/assessment of trauma (if necessary), identify client’s needs, help them prioritize and navigate through the resources available through partner agencies at the FJC, provide warm referrals or in‑person connections to appropriate agencies to meet stated needs; either in‑person or via digital means;
  • Complete Victim Protective Order (VPO) petitions, provide guidance to clients in the VPO process;
  • Promote ease of movement among and between services;
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming and comfortable reception area, intake rooms and victim waiting room; ensure immediate services for health and safety needs are available and accessible to clients as needed;
  • Apply creative problem solving as needed;
  • Track and document client movement through services via Salesforce, including service notes, client demographic/contact information, and other identifiers needed for grant compliance;
