JOB SUMMARY:
Employment Services Trainer
- Community(ESTC) providesemploymentskills, digitalliteracyand Goodwill Career Pathways Institute (GCPI) supportto the Workforce Development unitat Goodwill Central Oklahomaviathe Goodwill Employment Services Centerand off-site classrooms. The ESTCworkswithjob seekerstoidentifyareas of interest, evaluate barriers, and create plansand employment documentstolocatejob or career tracks thatmeet the needs of the clients served. The ESTCmayalsofacilitate
Google IT certification and the Grow with Google initiative,as well as online career pathway courses throughotheronline platforms.
Administrator over the Enid Employment Services Center (ESC) hub. Delivers employment skillservicesto clients within the northern region of Goodwill’sareato community andpartnerorganizations.
Facilitatesworkshopsfor community clientsincludingbut not limited towriting cover letters,resumes,conducting online job searches,andbasiccomputerskill development.
Facilitate GCPI certificate and employment programs offered under the Oklahoma Board of Private and Vocational Schools (OBPVS) through GCPI, if needed.
Helpjob seekers learn basic digital literacy,complete resumes, cover letters, andapply for jobs in their chosen area or vocation.
Provides basic computer operations skills training geared to teach individuals to perform job searches independently.
Promote sand Instructs Goodwill Career Pathways Institute and the certification programs offered, if needed.
Provides case management and educates clients onadditionalresourcesinthe community to help overcomeadditionalbarriersandrefersto other partner agencies for wraparound support services.
Andbuilds relationships with the local community resources toprovide direct referrals.
Assists with application process to other agencies for services (i.e.SNAP, Unemployment, etc.)
Develop andmaintaincommunitypartner relationships that align with Goodwill mission,certificates,programs, and services.
Skilled atserving vulnerable, high-barrier populations.
Maintainsdatatrackerfor clients served and reports that data to supervisor.
Reports will include,but not be limited to weekly reports, monthly reports, and any otheradditionalinformation as requested.
Maintainaccuraterecords, client notes,and data for all clients served in Client Records Management systemand inunitspreadsheets.
Makes follow-up callstoclientswho seek ongoing supportandto verify their employment status.
Communicate with employer partners on a regular basisabouttheemploymentstatus of thejob seekersandwhatisneeded to ensure theclientremainsemployed.
Schedules time tomaintainwalk-in hours at the ESC hub.
Creates Career Success Plans with clients to help them reach their employment goals.
Participates in staff, inter-agencyor other project coordinating meetings.
Remains current on Oklahoma employment trends and employer needs.
Attends Goodwill and community career fairs to work on behalf ofjob seeker sand presents information and training before individuals and groups.
Serves as a Workforce Development team player,occasionally stepping in toassistin other areas.
Travelup to 70% of the time.
This is considered asafetysensitive position. No level of impairment from drugs, alcohol or prescription medications will be acceptable while performing the essential functions of this job

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degreein education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or human services relatedindustrypreferred.
1 year of public speakingorteaching experience preferred.
Experience in job development for individuals with multiple barriers to employment preferred.
Abilityto multi-task to best serve clients and help meet their needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other team members required.
Proficiency in MS Office Suiteandabilityto navigate the internet with easearerequired.
