ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensures program adheres to agency policy and procedures, as foundon SharePoint. Also adheres toCARF and DMHSAS standards and criteria that apply to CCBHCs, federal and state confidentiality rules and regulations, and any special funding source requirements including Medicaid, OHCA, and SAMSHAregulations.

Supports and promotes a service environment forindividualin need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services thatisrecovery focused, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of individuals who may have experienced trauma in their lives. Attends annual core competencies traininginrelationshiptoindividuals with co-occurring disorders or who have experienced traumain their lives.

Establishes andmaintainsprofessional working relationships withsupervisorandpeersanddevelops integrated service provisions with other programs. Can effectively work within a team or group setting cohesively.

Directs and supervises clinical aspects of the Intensive

Services both at the URC and outpatient levels of care.

Works closely withotherdirectorto ensure Case Management/Care Coordination and group services have continuity and collaboration.

Assists the Clinical

Director in development and implementation of written program goals and outcome criteria that guide and support the provision of services.

Overseesgrantmanagement as well as new grant proposals. Demonstrates the ability to oversee multiple programs.

Oversees program budget and works closely with

Finance

Office.

Directs program development and grant coordination of Intensive Services at URC and Outpatient levels of carein adherence with CCBHC regulations. Works to expand and enhance all programs.

Provides input to supervisors of programs supervise don the professional performance of individuals privileged to provide clinical services in the program.

Determines and approves of staff training needs, consultation and education needs, and training/orientation ofnew staff.

Aidsinproviding direct services, and training in areas of crisis diversion and intervention to remain attentive to the needs of individuals and provide, as needed, debriefing related to incidents, incident reporting, consultation, etc.

Establishes rapport with clients, assessing client needs; organizes, plans, and delivers face-to-face client services; and conducts follow upon the outcome of services provided.

Oversees andassistsclients in transitioning from a higher intensity level of servicesortoalower intensityofservicesthat areappropriatebasedon the client’s needs.

Oversees andassistsclients in developing an individualized recovery plan that focuses on personal and interactive problems, independent living skill needs, defining goals, andto plan action reflecting interests, abilities, and needs.

Responsible formaintainingstrictest confidentiality guidelines for interactionsregardingconsumer and family information

Provides for scheduling and supervising assigned staff in the provision of services, clinical record keeping and reporting procedures and ensuring staff receive best practicetrainings.

Directs
24hrstaffing patterns and as needed coverage for URC to ensure it is fully staffed at all times.

Utilizes the philosophy of Collaborative/Therapeutic Documentation to meet clinical record keeping documentation standards and ensure documentation is completed with the Consumer to the extent possible and all documentation is completed on the same day of the date of service.

Directs outreach and engagement efforts for clients and other professionals at inpatient levels of care tofacilitatereferrals and client participation in services.

Builds andmaintainsa good community relationship with Crisis Centers and Inpatient Hospitals

Establishes andmaintainsprofessional working relationships with other agencies and community partners.

Monitors and approves, as appropriate, staff time sheets, leave requests, schedules, travel, and performance related to program requirements and goals.

Willassistin providing new staff orientation and training; will provide core training for current staff.

Ensures that staffmonitoreligibility status and make applications for Social Security, Title XIX or HMOs (Medicaid), QMB, and other benefits for which the client may qualify.

Responsible for on-going knowledge of the course of treatment, needs, and special issuesof programclientsincluding co-occurring services.

Monitors outcome data to inform best practices for treatment, staffing, and budget adherence.

May berequiredtowork on call,evening,and/or weekend hours.

May berequiredto provide services in a community setting and hybrid inpatient setting(URC).

May berequiredto provide client transportation by using personal vehicle or agency owned van or small bus.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises daily operations within Therapeutic Services for Case Management and  Therapy Programs.
