Job Title: Backend Developer (Full-Time, Oklahoma City)

Go 2 Green has developed a patented directional evacuation system that uses sensors and overhead lighting to guide individuals away from active shooters, environmental threats, or severe weather in both indoor and outdoor environments. Our mission: to create a predictable path to safety in unpredictable, disastrous situations — and save as many lives as possible.

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join the Go 2 Green team full-time in Oklahoma City. This individual will play a critical role in building, enhancing, and maintaining the software infrastructure that powers Go 2 Green’s life-saving solutions. You’ll work closely with our CTO, developers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that integrate with cutting-edge sensor technology.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems that support Go 2 Green’s patented evacuation technology.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Support ongoing innovation by staying current with best practices and emerging technologies.

• 1–3 years of professional software development experience (entry-level candidates welcome).
• Experience in Node.js and C++.
• Strong understanding of backend infrastructure, system architecture, and APIs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug across multiple environments.
• Flexible and eager to learn — open to expanding skills into front-end or mobile app development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a small, fast-moving team.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be based in Oklahoma City, OK (light travel required for DFW and in-office meetings).

Pay Transparency

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 – $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
