RoleDatabase Developer (SQL / SSIS)
LocationOklahoma City
Pay Rate Range$95,000 – $105,000 year DOE
Key Responsibilities- Design, create, and maintain database tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SSIS packages for data import and transformation processes
- Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout ETL workflows
- Collaborate closely with technical Business Analysts and application developers to understand data requirements
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical database solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve data import, ETL, and database performance issues
- Support ongoing project work including core system migrations and enhancements
- Document database structures, workflows, and development processes
- Work with multiple data sources, including mainframe and flat file formats
- Act as a technical contributor within a collaborative database development team
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of SQL Server development experience
- Strong proficiency with T‑SQL for developing tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures
- Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining SSIS packages
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to take requirements, refine them, and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team‑based environment
- Experience working with EBCDIC file formats and mainframe data sources
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Self‑starter with strong motivation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach
