** Software Development Engineer (Associate, Experienced, or Senior Level**) to join the B-52 Software Blocks (BSB) team located in
** Oklahoma City, OK.
** This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

The software block process focuses on performing corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance on fielded B-52 software.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Engineers.

* Position Responsibilities:

*** Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards
* Develop and maintain code, integrating software components into a fully functional system
* Collaborate on software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments
* Execute test procedures and document results to ensure software system requirements are met
* Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products
* Develops, maintains, enhances and optimizes software products and functionalities for systems integrations
* Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products
* Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products
* Handles user inquiries, troubleshoots technical issues and user feedback analysis
* Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development
* Develops, establishes, monitors and improves software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks
* Executes and documents software research and development projects
* Advises on software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations
* Performs software project management activities and software supplier management functions
* Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process compliance to project plans and industry standards
** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
*** Bachelor’s Degree
* Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret – Interim Pre-Start & Final Post Start (U.S. Citizenship required)
* 5+ years of experience in software development utilizing Java, C++, or Ada 96.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying software programs.
* 5+ years of experience writing and testing software.
** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
* ** Associate Level (Level
2)**:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience

* * Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience
** OR
* * 10+ years of related, relevant experience
* ** Mid-Level (Level
