Front End Engineer

The Role

Build the app our users actually interact with. Youll take features from Figma to production in our React Native appfrom screens and flows to state management, API integration, testing, and release.

• Build and ship screens and user flows in our React Native app, including investment journeys, KYC, mandate setup, and loan-against-mutual-funds features.
• Own features end-to-end: understand API contracts, integrate APIs, handle edge cases and failure states, test on real devices, and ship to production.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect UI that works well on small screens, slow networks, and partially loaded data.
• Own app releases, including builds, store submissions, crash monitoring, and post-release performance triage.
• Instrument the features you build to track funnels and drop-offs, then use the data to identify and fix issues.
• Establish frontend conventions and review code from engineers who join the team.

• 2+ years of experience building and shipping production React Native applications using Type Script.
• Strong knowledge of React Native fundamentals, including components, hooks, navigation, state management, and rendering performance.
• Hands-on experience with Expo/EAS, Expo Router or React Navigation, Tan Stack React Query, Zustand, and Native Wind/Tailwind

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous state management, including loading, empty, error, retry, offline, and stale-data states.
• At least one app shipped to the App Store or Google Play Store
  , or a repository that can be run and reviewed.
• Comfortable using Claude Code as a full-time development assistant - delegating real development work while reviewing and validating everything it generates.
• Strong attention to detail, especially around layouts, empty states, error messages, and overall UX. In a financial application, these details build user trust.
• Experience with mobile analytics and third-party SDK integrations is a plus.
