- Knowledge of modern application development frameworks, programming languages, and secure coding practices
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile Knowledge of business process analysis, functional design principles, documentation standards, user story development, and acceptance criteria definition
- Knowledge of TRS business rules, including those specific to the Pension Software System
- Familiarity with legacy systems architecture, dependencies, technologies, and integration points
- Skill in performing all aspects of application development, including coding, unit testing, documentation, code reviews, and submitting pull requests for TRS staff to review
- Skill in developing, enhancing, and maintaining application components that meet functional and technical requirements
- Skill in developing clear, actionable user stories and maintaining a prioritized backlog
- Skill in developing APIs, system interfaces, and automation workflows Ability to deliver high-quality work output with minimal defects
- Ability to translate technical specifications into maintainable, production-ready software
- Ability to collaborate effectively with TRS technical staff, analysts, testers, and project managers
- Ability to manage multiple development tasks and meet established timelines
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
