Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Oklahoma City, OK, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Driver positions weekly pay $1500 or more per week.
• Solo miles pay: range $0.62–$1.365 per mile, average $0.67.
• Stop pay: $25.50 per stop with 2–4 stops per day.
• Backhaul pay: $29.50 per backhaul.
• Paid training.
• Schedule:
  
  7 days a week operation – two days off.
• Start times 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

• Deliver SOLO to TX, KS, AR, OK.
• Route: home daily with option of regional.
• Tractor type: sleeper & day cab.
• Trailer type: 53’ reefer.
• 53’ reefer experience required – 1 year with strong backing skills.
• Equipment: pallet jack.
• Freight: touch – driver assist unload – groceries.

• Medical, dental & vision after 30 days.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder drug test.
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years).
• Pass DOT physical.
• Pass Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
