The Stand-Up Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a stand-up forklift to move, locate, and relocate products within the warehouse or production area. This role involves ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining a clean workspace.

• Operate a stand-up forklift to transport materials and products to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and shelves.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure proper functionality.
• Accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and adjustments.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse for optimal efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory needs and safety concerns.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and safety awareness.

• Previous experience operating stand-up forklifts (Must pass a forklift driving assesment).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
• Basic math skills for inventory management.

• Required to work in freezer where temperatures ranges between
  -10 to 32degrees Fahrenheit
• Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential hazards.
• Must wear appropriate safety gear as required.
