US FOODS® SHUTTLE DRIVER!
Primary function of this position is to drive tractor trailers containing various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, dry goods, etc.) to and from remote dispatch sites.
Generally works Sunday - Thursday 8pm - 5am.
PayThe expected base rate for this role is between $25.70 and $27.05.
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds).
As applicable, this role may also receive overtime compensation, incentives (i.e., based on cases, mileage, stops).

- Safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites
- May be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery Driver
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- 6 months commercial driving experience required
- Doubles endorsement required AND minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred
- Must be comfortable working overnight
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records
Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation. All Drivers are required to the Clearinghouse website and register to the new database. The Clearinghouse is a secure online database that provides real-time information about commercial driver’s license (CDL) and commercial learner’s permit (CLP) holders’ drug and alcohol program violations.
