Job Summary

The Fleet Manager is a critical logistical role essential to Bird's success in Oklahoma City. You will take responsibility for all elements of the local fleet of e‑scooters and e‑bikes, ensuring they are charged, safe, and positioned correctly to meet the community's transportation needs.

As an independent contractor, you will manage your own tools, equipment, and expenses. The role offers revenue‑share compensation based on results – a fleet volume of approximately 125 vehicles daily can generate $590‑$1000 per week, with the opportunity to earn more based on performance.

• Utilize vehicle(s) or fleet to collect, deploy, relocate, and retrieve e‑scooters and e‑bikes across Oklahoma City daily.
• Ensure timely repair and general maintenance of e‑scooters and e‑bikes to uphold brand standards and ensure rider safety.
• Manage the end‑to‑end operation of your assigned portfolio, ensuring vehicles are available in high‑demand areas.
• Problem‑solve in real‑time to overcome obstacles, prioritize tasks, and navigate local geography efficiently.

• Vehicle Access (Required): Must own or have consistent access to at least one large vehicle (van/truck). Fleet owners with multiple vehicles/drivers are encouraged to apply.
• Storage Space: Access to a garage, warehouse, or commercial facility with electricity is highly preferred for maximizing earnings (allows for overnight charging).
• License: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (or applicable commercial license) with a clean driving record for all operating drivers.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly; must be able to stoop, bend, walk, and stand for long periods while handling heavy equipment.
• Availability: Flexible schedule with willingness to regularly operate on weekends.
• Tech‑Savvy: Comfortable learning new mobile tools to locate and manage the fleet.
• Local Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Oklahoma City local geography.
