About the Role:

The Warehouse Forklift Operator/Puller plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods within the warehouse environment. This position is responsible for operating forklifts safely and effectively to load, unload, and transport materials to designated locations. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all items are handled according to safety and quality standards.

The operator will collaborate closely with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and meet daily operational targets. Ultimately, this position supports the overall supply chain by facilitating timely and accurate order fulfillment and inventory management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, count inventory, and complete documentation.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Previous experience in order pulling and packing.
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Pull and prepare orders by selecting items from inventory according to order specifications.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring that goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse space.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
