About the RoleThe Checker/Loader is responsible for operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts (propane and/or electric), hand trucks, and pallet jacks, to move stock or reorganize storage. Performs general maintenance and clean‑up of the work area.
What you'll accomplishCompares shipments with records (such as manifests, invoices, or orders) to verify accuracy before receiving or shipping products.
Distributes material to the various production areas in a manner that complements productivity. Moves finished goods to the shipping area as needed. Checks material movement transactions for accuracy of part numbers, quantities, and locations.
Prepares documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials. Determines proper loading procedures for all shipment modes.
Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies for purposes of reporting, accounting, and record keeping.
Works closely with the team to rectify any discrepancies with damaged product, shortages, and non‑conformance to quality specifications.
Loads and unloads containers, flat beds, and any other form of transportation of Malarkey materials.
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promotes a culture of safety and exhibits these behaviors.
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Field of Study: Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Experience:
Experience operating forklift trucks (propane and/or electric) with the ability to operate them safely in congested areas.

Additional Requirements- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize‑approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean‑shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
