1st Shift Warehouse Worker
This role is based in a climate-controlled remanufacturing facility with an integrated warehouse area that focuses on refurbishing transmissions, engines, and other automotive parts. The warehouse worker supports production and shipping operations by accurately handling parts, maintaining inventory integrity, and entering data into the computer system while collaborating closely with the warehouse team.
Responsibilities- Pull parts and orders from production and prepare them for shipment to customers and internal departments
- Count, verify, and audit inventory to ensure accuracy and proper stock levels
- Enter inventory and order data into the computer system with attention to detail and accuracy
- Use scanning, packing, material handling, and sorting techniques to process parts efficiently
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including staging, loading, and unloading materials as needed
- Work effectively with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping goals
- Follow established procedures and safety guidelines while handling parts and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse and remanufacturing facility
- Participate in on-the-job training and cross‑training opportunities to expand skills and responsibilities
- Be available for mandatory overtime, including Saturdays, to support operational needs
- At least 6 months of warehousing experience
- Above‑average job tenure demonstrating reliability and commitment
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Ability to work 10‑hour shifts multiple times per week plus Saturdays as required
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day, excluding breaks and lunch
- Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic material handling and sorting skills
- Ability to work well within a warehouse team environment
- Capability to enter data accurately into computer systems
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong basic math skills to support counting and inventory tasks
- General computer skills for data entry and system navigation
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes
- Previous warehouse experience in a production or remanufacturing setting
- Forklift experience or willingness to learn forklift operation
- Interest in cross‑training for additional roles such as lead or supervisor positions

WorkEnvironment
The role is based in a climate‑controlled remanufacturing facility with an attached warehouse area that handles transmissions, engines, and other automotive parts. The standard schedule is 1st shift, running approximately 5:00/5:30 a.m. to 3:00/3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime on Saturdays until further notice. Work is primarily performed on your feet, involving frequent standing, walking, lifting, and material handling.
The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork, with access to scanning equipment, computers for data entry, and typical warehouse tools and machinery.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
