Position Title: Warehouse II

Pay Rate: $19.50/hour

The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is the movement of product within the warehouse. In addition, this role will serve as back‑up delivery driver for non‑CDL trucks. This is a general labor position that will prioritize and pick product to fill orders, and physically move and lift product weighing as much as 150 pounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in administrative tasks, such as the handling and preparation of paperwork.
  • May assist in the daily closing of the warehouse.
  • Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size, and type, and inform management of inventory and supply shortages as well as assist in periodic inventory counts.
  • Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, and segregate defective product from normal inventory flow.
  • Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
  • Designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, lifting products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Handle tires (e.g., roll, destack, team lift) that weigh more than approximately 50 pounds.
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and maintain an operator license if required.
  • Perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning the parking lot, loading dock, and surrounding areas; keep floors clear of debris, maintain bathrooms, and assist in daily closing of the warehouse.

Qualifications
  • High School or GED degree.
  • 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Occasional standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands to handle objects or controls.
  • Reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Lifting products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds and handling tires that weigh more than approximately 50 pounds.
  • Close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception required.
  • Exposure to weather conditions and moderate noise level in the work environment.
  • Travel of 5% of the time.
