Forklift Operator, General Labor, Material Handler
Our client in Oklahoma City, Oklahomais seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Forklift Operator with a minimum of one year of Cherry Picker experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts, including cherry pickers, to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse and distribution center. This position requires a detail-oriented and reliable individual with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

- Shifts:
Second Shift - Starting at 3pm - Full time hours
- Clean and safe work environment
- Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers, to transport materials and goods within the warehouse and across the facility.
- Safely load and unload products from trucks, shelves, and storage areas, ensuring the proper stacking and organization of items.
- Pick and retrieve orders using RF scanner and cherry pickers to access high shelves and storage racks.
- Perform routine safety checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating forklifts and cherry pickers, ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating cherry pickers and forklifts in a warehouse or similar setting.
- Experience with a cherry picker and/or reach truck is required.
- Proven experience with material handling, including loading, unloading, and storing goods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and practices.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions, including standing, bending, and moving heavy materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
